Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden is a phenomenal song for me. That’s why I’ve been playing it as a solo bass piece for a long time. I think the timbres that are created and the harmonies themselves are simply divine. We also play the number with the band JazzAgainstTheMachine.

Felipe from Dingwall Guitars in Canada knew my solo bass version of the song and said to me: “Hey, you should record it again completely, with a Dingwall D-Roc.” That’s what I did, with a bit of steampunk aesthetics in the background. The D-Roc is a killer bass, it was great fun to record with it. Dingwall really liked it and they published the video on their channels.
